Security Upgrade for Visitors to our Building Security Upgrade for Visitors to our Building: Visitor Sign In - ID Scanning   This summer, we upgraded our visitor sign in software.  Visitor data from the previous system could not be migrated.  Therefore, each visitor to the building will need to have their license scanned into the system upon their first visit beginning in September.  Thank you for your cooperation.  
Transportation Change for 2019-2020 Transportation Change for 2019-2020: Dear parents that live within the DeRuyter Village Limits:      As you may recall, when our PK program finally began in January 2019, it was decided that we would have a daily bus for students that live within the Village limits.  We would pilot this shuttle for the rest of the2018-2019 school year and then make a decision whether to continue it or not for the new school year.      After much discussion, it has been decided that we will no longer provide a bus on a daily basis for Village students.        However, on those wintery mornings when it is below zero, we will continue to provide transportation by sending a bus that will go around the Village picking up any students that would like to ride on the very cold ...
Free Breakfast/Lunch for ALL STUDENTS For 2018-2019 Free Breakfast/Lunch for ALL STUDENTS For 2018-2019: Attention Parents/Guardians - GOOD NEWS!!! The DeRuyter Central School District is committed to high levels of learning for all students. We strive to provide engaging and equitable learning environments for everyone. In an effort to ensure that all students are afforded an optimal learning environment, the district will provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students in grades K -12 th .   Beginning this September, the District will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision part of the The Healthy and Hungry Free Kids Act which is a federally-funded program.
