IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE: Parent Conference day has been moved to Tuesday, November 12 th .   There will be no school for PK-12 students that day. The calendar had the date listed as November 13 th .   We are changing the date to align with the rest of the schools in our Cortland BOCES region so that our students that attend BOCES programs are not missing an extra day of class.  Students will be in school on November 13 th on a normal schedule . We apologize for the confusion, and appreciate your support and understanding. 
Attention Community!!!!  Trial Village Transportation Announcement Attention Community!!!! Trial Village Transportation Announcement: We are starting a village bus pick-up THIS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2019 !!! Walkers can catch a ride  around 7:30 am  at the Post Office  or  7:33 at the Town Hall. We will try this for the fall months and then revisit !  Stay tuned!!
Security Upgrade for Visitors to our Building Security Upgrade for Visitors to our Building: Visitor Sign In - ID Scanning   This summer, we upgraded our visitor sign in software.  Visitor data from the previous system could not be migrated.  Therefore, each visitor to the building will need to have their license scanned into the system upon their first visit beginning in September.  Thank you for your cooperation.

The DeRuyter Central School District is committed to high levels of learning for all students. We strive to provide engaging and equitable learning environments for everyone. In an effort to ensure that all students are afforded an optimal learning environment, the district will provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students in grades PK -12 th .   This September, the District will again be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision part of the The Healthy and Hungry Free Kids Act which is a federally-funded program.
